Nationality Rooms

Between 1938 and 1999, 26 classrooms, each representing a different cultural heritage, have been constructed within the Cathedral of Learning. From China to Italy, from India to England, each classroom represents the beauty and heritage of a particular country-and the intercultural ties that the descendents of those cultures, now living in America, continue to cherish.

:) pittsburgh is my favorite city. been there on pleasure and business. my grandkids live in greensburg, about 31 miles from pittsburgh. i traveled old route 30 one day from pgh to greensburg. it was suburbs and sprawl the entire distance. amazing. the photos do not do the city justice. crime is one of the lowest of all metro areas.
