A little pbase search here and a little google there and yes, it is Portugal. Porto, Portugal to be exact. You might have heard of their futbol team FC Porto.

Oporto and Porto are the same thing. Porto is the city, but when you talk about it to say O Porto "the port", Oporto is for some reason how americans write it.
