Not just trashy and tacky.  A very real problem for fish and wildlife downstream.  What in the heck does Charlotte Storm Water even do?

Charlotte storm water reminds us all constantly to:  turn around, don’t drown, your car is not a boat...

That, and asking some of us if we’ll “donate” a permanent easement across our properties so our properties will be encumbered (or taken) without fair market compensation.

They will investigate and make sure they are following protocols, including having protection on the storm inlets around the site. I have reported a couple of items in the past and found them to be very responsive.

Considering that over 500 people will be living on a block that was only occupied for a while by a Squatter (D Furman) and a derelict building that was surrounded by scaffolding because it was crumbling, and that the interior didn't lend itself to reconfiguration to create housing of some sort, I think this project turned out pretty good.

Completely agree.... especially since 5th is a oriented towards a ton of residential (while Trade is more commercial and future transit use oriented).   Even if things like a drycleaners and other neighborhood services, this would be a good spot....
