Oh, so the reduced photo tour is over here.  Haha, again nice pics.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

It's in two parts here because of the photo per post limit set here. I don't agree with it, but it's not my site. I want to be able to make 100 photo-long threads. Haha.

Nice Pics, but one thing....

That isn't the Joe. That is Cobo Arena. JLA is on the other side of Cobo Hall. You can get a good look at it from either the people mover, or coming into the city on the Lodge (M-10).

BTW, you didn't make it to Campus Martius?

If any of you guys (or girls) go downtown for general excursions, check out Cafe de Troit on Library across from the Skillman Library. They are open till 3 on Saturday and during the week till at least 5. Great baked goods, Awesome flavored chai tea, and they are locally owned and operated. I've heard they have good coffee too.

If you are looking for uniquely Detroit restaurants these are my recomendations (only places I've been too):

Olso - Sushi Bar

on the corner of Woodward and E. Grand River

Sala Thai - Great Thai food, medium means hotter than hell.

On Russell in an old fire house between Mack and Gratiot in Eastern Market

Senor Lopez - Authenic Mexican

On Michigan almost to Dearborn
