I hope it continues too. Sometimes having a forum section with little or no posts is as bad for recruiting new members as having no section at all. It's all very chicken and egg. But there seems to be a handful of Virginia forumers, and we hope you all enjoy this space, make yourselves at home in it, and serve as the nucleus for a larger community of Virginians on UP.

EDIT: It might help though if we hadn't spelled V-I-R-G-I-N-I-A wrong! I'll get that fixed!

I used to work for a company that used to design a lot of packaging. We made a mock up for a trade show with that spelling of Virginia on one of our packages, Oops! Luckily we caught it before actual production.

I know its great virginia has its own section hopefully alot of Richmond Projects will be on here as well as Norfolk Metro.Me I'm from Richmond and i can't wait for Riverside on the James to be complete this spring hopefully.

[Yea Cotuit it is office and Residential filled up really fast and theres starting to be a big Demand for Residential in downtown Richmond.Theres also another project thats coming soon called canal landing if anyone wants to see it go to www.richmondcitywatch.com and click on construction and scroll down to Proposals.

Omg! Another tower? Do you know what forum that article was in. If so that would be crazy. Downtown Norfolk is absolutely on fire, i never thought i would see this type of development here.

Yeah, I can't remember if it was lakelander or somebody else. It's seems to me that it was a developer (from Miami, I think) that had plans of building one or more towers in the Jacksonville area and in the article it listed Norfolk and a few other cities in the south that he was really interested in.

I told you we were out there B) . Yeah this is great. The first day there were like 3 new people who i'd never even heard of before. I think this section is also drawing a lot of attention from non-Virginians who are interested in whats going on here.
