Ok, say you went down to SC and bought a lottery ticket while out buying cheap liquor and hit the number. If you had a million left after taxes where would you prefer to move?

I'd buy a site for the Knights to play Uptown!!!!!

Oh, wait, you said just a million dollars.

I would buy as much land as possible since it's virtually impossible to get anything under 1/10 of an acre anywhere near downtown unless you have a gazillion dollars. With that land I would build a nice, comfortable house, not too extravagant, but probably a 4BR,3.5BA with a nice wrap around porch.

I only get $1 million. What can you get for that?! I vote for Myers Park and a pleasant home somewhere on Sherwood or Queens Road West. Y'all can have the lake. I don't like to sit in traffic on 77.

Other. Just stay where I am. Use the money to travel.

One million would not get you much in a condo tower compare to Myers Park. You got to remember that on a million dollar house, you will l have a nice property tax bill.
