FTA approves Money for Pitt

What is this project and how will it improve mass transit in Pitt?

Been in the works for awhile, this is mostly (if my memory is correct) funding to actually BUILD it--the planning and impact studies etc. are all finished.

Here is a link on an earlier discussion on the tunnel, I have since learned that it will NOT be the first in the state but the second.
