i'm moving to wilmington, nc in summer '06. ive lived in nyc for 10 years but am a native of fayetteville, nc. wilmington seems to have the right combo of cosmo elements (bookstores, cafes, interesting restaurants) i want, PLUS it is near the coast. however, being a native of nc, i'm wondering if the black folk in wilmington are present at any of the downtown stuff (i plan on living in the historic downtown area). any ideas?
