Celebrity Governor coming to Pennsyvlania? First Reagan then Jesse Ventura and the Governorator and now Swanny!

This will be interesting . . . Lynn Swann the ex-Steelers wideout who was Super Bowl X MVP and a Hall of Famer will make a run for the Governor's Mansion. With Swann (a republican) sure to cut across party lines in the western part of the Commonwealth while Rendell a long time Eagles post-game show participant might pit Steeler fans vs. Eagles fans more then GOP and Dems.

Pennsylvania is a state that strongly supports the political establishment..it is NOT a California or Minnesota.

Either way, no Republican can really beat Rendell at this point. Pennsylvania likes to re-elect it's Governors.

Appears from preliminary polling Swann will win the Republican Nomination for Governor.
