Has anyone noticed new construction on 17/92 & Sybelia just north of Horatio and the Publix SS?  There is something u/c at the former site to Ravinia.

Yes.  I took a photo of it from the bike overpass on a ride a couple of weeks ago i think. Is this what you are talking about?:

^^

I don't think that's it.  That's the TOD next to Sunrail I think and across from Mercedes of Orlando.  I see the tracks in the foreground.  Great photo, though.

What I'm talking about would be on the opposite side of the road (17/92) and further south.  The next light south of there should be Sybelia.  On the left at that intersection, they built a mixed use complex about two years ago. To the south of that project is where I'm talking about.

Massive new town center planned for Lake Nona

Saw a report on the news tonight about the massive town center slated to begin construction at Lake Nona. Located right next to the UCF College of Medicine, it will supposedly rival the size of Florida Mall, Waterford Lakes and Mall at Millennia combined when completed.

With so many retailers closing their stores nationwide, rather than the traditional department store anchor tenants like Sears and Macy's, Tavistock, the developer, says this center will be more lifestyle oriented with anchor tenants like a movie theater, a bowling alley, a medical fitness based gym, and a brewery.

Groundbreaking set to begin this summer with completion set for summer 2019.

As nice as this will likely be, I don't like this kind of sprawl.

Heard on the evening news tonight that Winter Park has got the go ahead to begin design work on a new combination library and civic center to be constructed in MLK Park off of Denning and Morse.

Found this conceptual on Google Images...

I wonder what they'll do with the current WPPL building.

Sell it, I suppose.
