The Boston Celtics have seen a 10-1 run since the reaquisition of Antoine Walker and Gary Payton and alot of growth from rookies Al Jefferson, Tony Allen and Delonte West. A good mixture of veterens and young talent seems to be paying off. If the Celtics want to be contenders in the NBA they have the talent but are going to have to work on basic things like defense and making free throws.

Are they an elite team? Not yet, but it's good to see this team have some success after such a long drought.

EDIT: If your favorite team is not listed, sorry only 20 choices please give it a shout

out!

I think it is because this is mainly a southern forum and people like college hoops more in that region. Also the NBA has done a terrible job lately marketing itself compared to football and Nascar.

Unfortunately the Bobcats aren't doing well int heir first season.  I do think we're still doing better than the Hornets, but don't quote me on that.  It would be humiliating to be behind the Hornets, LOL!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

The hornets have pulled 1 win ahead of the bobcats.

But the good news is the cats beat orlando last night for the 3rd time in 4 games. Too bad we don't play them anymore. :whistling:

I used to like the Hornets, but I lost love for them when they left Carolina, hoping that it would make them a better team, and they are still mediocre (Ha ha, New Orleans). For me, It's the Spurs. They had my favorite basketball player, George Gervin (Iceman!!!).

I like the Hawks, even they are the worst team, but tell me, what else is new?

Why must they be so bad?!

I guess I gotta root for the home team, though. After all, Boston was faithful through the Sox's bad years, all 86 of them. Maybe if we support the Hawks for 86 years, they'll get a Nat'l Championship.
