Upscale bowling alleys, sounds like an oxymoron, but they are making their way to Philly.  Sounds like 2 of them will be open by sometime next year.

Bowling

Is anything going on with Lucky Strike though? This seems like another project which gets announced but is NEVER done. The place is still vacant with no sign of activity.

Well, the article states that the project hinges on zoning. It seems like anything that needs any variances here get delayed for months upon months. The korean BBQ near my house was underconstruction for nearly two years waiting for zoning approval.

Zoning  ! It seems that Philly would rather have an empty storefront, a parking lot, or a hole in the ground just so long as its sacred and outdated zoning laws aren't broken.

BTW - which Korean BBQ is this?

Porky Porky, at 11th and washington. Actually just below washington. The name is really goofy but the food is really good. It's just a couple of blocks from my house. Try it out if you get a chance.
