The gray building that was supposed to be home to Reedy Square across River Street from the Embassy Suites.

As of right now yes. Windsor Aughtry is going to put a mixed use development on site at a future date.

Anyone heard anything about what will happen with all the retail space along the river? Will this be part of the Art Crossing Galleries?

Well, the equipment hasn't moved in weeks. Rumor is Windsor Aughtry has cancelled plans for the parking lot and will be moving forward with their mixed use development on site. Once again, this is only a rumor so take it with a big bucket of salt.

That would be awesome. It's gonna happen sooner or later. Hoping for maybe some office and condos.

Building a parking lot made almost no sense to me.

Which parking lot on Main Street? There isn’t one at Riverplace.

Office space seems to be getting absorbed across downtown (at least until Falls Tower opens). I wonder if they may consider residential for this last building?

Maybe. I just find it odd he isn’t moving forward on it right now with Falls Tower being almost 100% preleased.

Maybe solidifying the Conference Center is the hold up. The building of that facility could help influence things -- rent price point, size, demand? Who knows?

Yes, but many of those tenants will be vacating space downtown...
