Harborfest 2007, with all of the tall ships and extra events tied into the theme of the 400th anniversary of Jamestown, and with an incredible fireworks demonstration, was the best one by far in many, many years.

Exactly, the fireworks display was impressive. They said the largest fireworks display on the east coast, and I believe them. It lasted almost exactly thirty minutes, but they did the same exact thing in three different spots along the park. Very impressive.

I thought I'd share this here in case people didn't see it in the skyline thread. This is one of the best evening shots I've seen of Norfolk, and it shows Harbor Heights, Trader, and the new Cruise Terminal well. I did not take this picture, and after searching for the owner through Flickr (where I saved it from one time), I can't find him. I took his orginal and cropped it to show just the skyline. I love this shot! :shades:
