These are the best aerial pictures of Norfolk I've seen. The best part is these photos are recent. And just think how much more this city is going to "grow up" (by that I mean since there isnt much real estate to grow out on...its time to grow up in height.)

Man, I wish we could blow up that parking lot next to Dominion Tower!

I'm going to co-sign that. There are also a few other parking garages scattered around Downtown that need to come down and some sleek buildings go up in their place.

I wonder if there is enough support under that deck to redevelop it and put an office tower expansion on top. I know Dominion is like 97% leased and that would be a prime expansion location.

Considering that the garage provides parking for Dominion and the Sheraton alone, I doubt it... Where are you going to put all the cars from the new office tower? 15 story parking garage?

Me too. And hopefully soon they will really make a positive contribution! Even now when you travel west on 264 over the Berkeley Bridge, having Harbor Tower and the several other notable Portsmouth structures does a lot for Norfolk's skyline.
