My guess has been "ugly" ... I think there is some police stuff in the building upstairs. They've been working on the addition for a while.

I am pretty sure that it is a penthouse for a local developer who bought the building.

Ha I don't even know what street it's on? Is the addition only 1 floor? And about the previous picture, does SunTrust occupy that whole building, and is the Monarch Bank building the HQ?

Sounds good. I want to get some semi- aerial photos from some of the parking garages to try and show off our density. I can't wait until we can take pictures of the trains running through the city. That will complement every street level photo quite nicely. I really enjoy reading the little history tidbits on the cannonball trail at TPP.. I don't know about you guys, but everytime I'm downtown I thoroughly enjoy myself lol.

I just organized a set on my Flickr account for Norfolk pictures. I took these all two summers ago when I was really into walking around the city with my camera. Everyone's pictures are really making me want to go out and do this again someday soon.

^ This old 'Fisherman' saw me taking pictures so he naturally called me over to take a picture of him. His name is Eugene and is from Hampton. He was a little strange as he was standing by waterside drive trying to catch a bus to Virgina Beach yelling ON NO I MISSED MY BUS every time one went by, we wern't near a bus stop.. He bragged to me about his hazle eyes. ^

Awesome pics dude. The funny part is I've seen that guy on the bus before!! He got on and startin' askin the bus driver if he could drive lol! That's funny. But your pictures are great. I wish I woulda known you where downtown, I was at MacArthur watchin' District 9. I would have walked around with ya. I'm about to go on a city wide picture taking tour lol. From OV to the Airport to Botanical Gardens, the Zoo, ODU, NSU, etc. It's fun taking pictures in Norfolk, isn't it.

Hey varider i saw District 9 when it came out on the 14th, it was the best movie I have seen in years. I walked through MacArthur 4 times today and on the 3rd floor so i might have actually seen you! Yes i would love to meetup and take pictures of the city. To tell you the truth it kinda got lonely out there on my own with no one to talk to about stuff. When are you going to do it? This saturday? Im free till Monday when college (TNCC) starts.

My dad works in downtown(lucky) and is there everyday.
